So there's a server with MODS?
Yes, yes there is...
And it's a SURVIVAL SERVER for minecraft 1.7.1!
We decided to make a lighter, more simplistic, modded server because we missed the creepers and skellingtons :(
The Friends 4 Ever team presents Friends 4 Ever SURVIAL, the survival server where you can do anything and be anything (execpt an ***hole). It offers a compact variety of essential and interesting mods and plugins for hours of fun and execptional preformance (still working on the preformance aspect).
Below are links to the offical forum and topic pages of our mods & plugins, check them out for more information on these fantasic beauties.
Notes:
1) yes, we know some of these mods are for MC 1.7.2-1.7.9 but if they're on this page, then they're fully functional and compatable
2) please let us know if ANY of the links below are broken
3) If you're confused, lost, or have questions about the mods on our server, let us know via the "contact" page! Just make sure to write "mod/plugin question(s)" in the subject line.

Mods can be downloaded via the Technic Laucher!!
Just download the technic launcher from the technic website (link below), run it, log in with your minecraft profile, click on "modpacks," and copy and paste the platform URL above in the white "add modpacks" search bar on the top left. Click "install" (in the bottom left corner of the screen that pops up) and sit back and enjoy. The server address is in the upper right corner of this website.

This mod adds 4 new dimensions, The Blind Oasis, Vaeryn, Flamonor, and Sanctuatite, each with their own special properties. The majority of Minecraft players run into this problem at some point: lighting your castle takes a crap ton of torches and glowsrone. So, as the name indicates, this mod adds a new light source that is completly invisible.
NOTE: MOD PAGE IS IN SPANISH
Gist: click anywhere with light wand to place light (must have glowstone in inv). SHIFT + CLICK to toggle visiblity. Destroy with left click (must have visiblity toggled).
Natura is a mod that aims to spice up the world with interesting worldgen. With a few small additions, hunger no longer has to be about hunting animals early game. The mod is mostly intuitive; everything should be sensible or explained in-game.
Introduces a new weapon system to minecraft. This system will allow the player to have up to 3 weapons sets available to them that can be switched. The system allows the player to specify a mainhand and an offhand weapon (so it allows for dual wielding). This mod also introduces a new bow & QUIVER mechanic and the ability to block or shield bash opponents.
